Tai Chi Classes
I offer two types of Tai Chi classes at my school: group classes and private classes.
Group classes consist of at least 4 students meeting at the same time. Because of the limited size of the room the size of group classes will also be limited, but 4 students is a good average class size.
Private classes are a one-on-one instructional format and result in more personal teachings and feedbacks.
As you might expect, group classes are more affordable than private classes on a per-hour basis, but if you have special needs or are just group-shy then a private class might be the answer.
My classes are easy-going and fun – no boot-camp stuff here! I encourage interaction between students, because I’ve found that this enhances the learning process.
I usually have soft, relaxing music playing in the background to add to the mood. Once in a while you may get a whiff of sandalwood in the air.
Remember though that not everyone will have the same expectations and outlooks during a class, and I ask only that you respect your fellow students.
Classes are usually one hour long, and you’re welcome to sit down, use the restroom or grab a drink at any time during the class. (Hint: good idea to bring your own water bottle)
Official Class Cat:
A have a cat (his name is “Mao“, which is Chinese for “cat”) that may occassionally wander into the class. If you are allergic to cats or just don’t like them, please let me know before class and I will ask him to stay in his room (filled with food, toys and catnip, of course!).
Group and private class tuitions are payable on a weekly or monthly basis, with a discount applied for monthly payments.
Sorry, no single-class payments accepted.
I accept cash, checks, money orders, and PayPal payments.
